Welcome to Mudbugs Clay Club, Northshore's space for young minds to imagine, explore, create, and connect through clay.

Single day holiday workshops coming soon!

Building Connections Through Clay

At Mudbugs Clay Club, kids can explore, create, and get their hands dirty. Our handbuilding pottery classes encourage creativity, problem-solving, and self-expression in a fun, welcoming environment.

Each weekly session gives children the chance to learn new clay techniques, build confidence, and create projects they're proud of—all while making friends and enjoying the process together.

Whether they're trying clay for the first time or already love making art, every child is welcome. Come create with us!

Mudbugs Stuff to Know

What is the class schedule?

Our classes are held every Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM. Please arrive 5 minutes early for drop-off. For months containing 5 Wednesdays, we take the 5th Wednesday off as a studio break.

What is the dress code?

We recommend that kids wear clothes and shoes that can get dirty. While our washable clays and underglazes clean up easily, pottery is an inherently messy craft. Long hair should be tied back, and jewelry should be removed prior to class.

What happens if my child's work breaks?

Clay is a natural, unpredictable, and highly delicate medium. While we make every effort to monitor and repair breaks, we cannot guarantee a flawless final piece. No refunds, partial refunds, or replacement makeup classes will be issued for pieces that crack or break during the kiln process.

When can I pick up my finished work?

Students should expect finished projects to be ready for pickup roughly four weeks after completed construction. This timeframe varies depending on several factors including required drying time for thickness and project size.
